1 year ago* Merlin_Magii, I think it's best to use these programs iemadimtely after installing the OS or start using a preinstalled computer, because those apps will, if run, change/add stuff to this my most hated registry behemoth.* Obviously you should defrag after removal, since removal will leave mostly non-contiguous and, indeed, very often quite large empty gaps on your disk. Defragging the Registry would be a good idea as well.* I haven't used Slim nor Decrapifier yet, but Revo and Advanced Uninstaller, the two I use a lot, will (almost) always leave a few up to a lot of registry occurrences behind. And believe me, the file/folder removal is what they perform best! For some time now I've taken the habit of running RegScanner afterwards. Regedit is too slow on this: you can only search for one occurrence of an item at a time, while RegScanner (nirsoft.net/utils/regscanner.html) will show them all together after the scan finishes. You can then remove (delete + creation of a delete/.reg file) the unwanted entries. I do this using the whole or just part of the removed program name (you can never be sure how it's orthographed in the registry). RegScanner sometimes finds a huge quantity of leftovers (especially with Norton) but you, of course, have to be careful removing the found items. I usually check at least on both the visibility of the actual program name and the install date and , in doubt, won't touch a found entry. Don't forget to back up the registry first with ERUNT v1.1j for example (larshederer.homepage.t-online.de/erunt/index.htm). By the way, it comes with the quite small NTREGOPT, a NT Registry Optimizer which runs on NT/2000/2003/XPWindows Vista and 7 (for the latter two they advise to turn off User Account Control in Windows' Control Panel by moving the slider to the lowest position).* Don't use uninstallers (I mean Revo and the like) on Norton though. After removal , RegScanner would always find between 800 and 1000 leftovers when you search on both Symantec and Norton (remember I have already reinstalled Vista 4 times, but I now have an image of a cleaned install + my most used software which should solve this issue). But you have to be very careful about this, because the first time I cleaned those entries, my computer would not boot any more Last time I used Norton's own Norton Removal Tool 2011.0.0.15 and it did the best job so far: less than 200 leftovers which could almost all painlessly be removed using RegScanner, plus leftover files and folders I sometimes only discovered later on (should have done a search on those too ;-). Stainless steal is very popular in the U.S. It is easy to clean and looks neat. Also, they like to have evertyhing match. The dishwasher, fridge, coffee pot, oven (with gas burners) will all be stainless steal. I, personally, don't care. I don't spend enough time in the kitchen to notice. I just go in there for my morning coffee and a late night sandwich.

Well, my 30 year old 5' 8" or so Fridge (whatever can they mean by Fridge/Freezer as I thought all did both?) is a late 1970s yoellw - but it does seem the fashion lately for a lot of the newer fridges to have a "brushed" stainless steel casing.
